Chris Woods, a retired sea captain, lives in Norfolk, England.
"My interests are mainly landscape & seascape, also portraiture; all with minimal colour saturation."
"There was always a camera in the family when we were growing up. I prefer to use the minimal equipment. My first 35mm camera was a Helina with a Chance Pilkington lens. I took this to sea where I spent my working life, eventually moving on to a Practica SLR with an additional Photax 300 mm lens which I used to photograph the albatross (see my Marine gallery).
I still use film: in a Nikon FM with a range of Tamron lenses.
For digital I use an Olympus 250.
