Nature and Naturism in Corsica
The gallery features photographs shot by John and Silvana during holidays at the Riva Bella naturist camp. The 70 hectare site includes the Étang de Terrenzana (a coastal lagoon) and 2km of sandy beach. A herd of Llamas keep the rolling woodland in shape. Water birds nest on the lagoon. The campers live in bungalows, caravans or tents hidden under the trees. Naturism embedded in nature emerges each day to claim the beaches.
The photographs show the sparsely-occupied beach in June before the main holiday season. The days are long at the summer solstice. Sunrise occurs at 5am when most campers are still asleep; the beach is deserted. After a late sunset he full moon rises into a sky that is still bright.
