In 2007 we established a new studio for portrait photography.
2 ProFoto flash units, one in a large softbox, the other fitted with a snoot.
Two general purpose reflectors and one triflector.
Background frame with standard black or white curtains.
Nikon D200 with 85mm f/1.4 portrait lens.
We have been experimenting with Photomatix Pro software
for synthesizing 32-bit HDR images from batches of 5 or more shots in 1 EV steps.

Since 2007 we have been using a portable system for high quality portraits out of doors.
ProFoto radio-controlled battery flash, white umbrella, various reflectors.
Here is the first trial of the new system.
The founders of Photo Zerüi under a tree
in the ancient bluebell wood near Steyning (Sussex).
Natural light under the tree was inadequate.
So it was supplemented by flash
using the Profoto B portable unit with a white umbrella
located on the left to give light in the same direction as the sun.
